Flying Flying Flying..
Day 1: Friday
Worked friday morning till afternoon.. rushed to home affairs to try find out where my SA passport was.. lost! Wahoo.. ok apply for emergency passport, oh wait.. 10 working days! And re-apply for perm passport.. 6 – 12 weeks.. freaking out that im not gonna get on holiday as they wont let me out of SA with British passport… Got to airport early (Just after 3), only to find that i could only check in for flight after 5.. grrr.. waited around so I wouldnt have to Queue.. checked in, had dinner at spur and went and stood in the line for immigration.. stressing! Got there.. explained my story and was nice to him.. and he let me on holiday! Wahooo Flight to UK was very bumpy over africa.. but was ok, Watched Hoodwinked, R.V and Failure to launch, was to tired to watch anything else so sleep most of the rest of the way
Day 2: Saturday
Arrived at Heathrow on time, only to find that another plane had stolen our parking bay! They made us sit on the runway for 30minutes while we waited for this plane to move! Grrrr The weather was very typical british.. cloudy, cold and rainy! Cleared immigration, got bags and had to find a bus to stansted.. made it JUST in time for the next bus. Pretty much slept thru the whole bus trip. Arrived in Stansted with just enough time to check in for flight, only to have flight delayed for some reason.. grrr Arrived in Spain.. wow its hot!! Got on another Bus to get from Girona airport to the hotel (Hotel Merce) where we are staying. We staying in a little Place called Pineda De Mar.. its about a 45min journey to Barcelona itself, which is not to bad, the place itself is nice, with nice beaches, and touristy area’s. Walked around the place abit after a swim in hotel pool, and had dinner (ice cream) and an early night.. was exhausted from flying! Ok I know this is gonna sound like a real spoilt brat moment.. yeh yeh.. post ur comment.. BUT I NEED AIRCON! Man this place is hot and humid.. im dying here, not use to this heat anymore
